Dr. Dharampal Jain Donates Rs. One Lakh for Poor Patient Cell of PGI

Chandigarh 9 March, 2020. Dr. Dharampal Jain, a well known NRI philanthropist based in Milwaukee, USA, dedicated to the cause of poor and destitute patients, showcased another exemplary generous gesture and lent a helping hand to the needy patients as he donated $ 1500 (Rs. 1,11, 000/-) for the Poor Patient Cell of PGI toady.

Dr. Dharampal Jain, who is elder brother of Sh. Satya Pal Jain handed over a cheque amounting $ 1500 to Prof. A. K. Gupta, Medical Superintendent, PGI today morning in his office, on the eve of completing 70 year of age.

Expressing his thanks to Dr. Dharampal Jain, Prof. A. K. Gupta, stated, “It seems charity is innate to Dr. Jain as he has  been so magnanimously  contributing to the cause of poor and needy patients in assorted forms; donations, money; medicines or treatment, for the ‘not so privileged’ patients from time to time. Such gestures of benevolence by the philanthropists go a long way in benefitting the poor ailing humanity.”

“With his compassionate initiative, Dr. Jain has also set a role model for others to help destitute patients which is a true service to mankind,” added Prof. Gupta.

Dr. Dharampal Jain, said “It’s a humble effort to pay back what we owe to our motherland. God has been so kind to us. So why not share his abundant gifts with our brethren and help in alleviating their misery?. This will give us peace which no material possession can ensure.”

Sh. Satya Pal Jain, Ex-MP said, “Any donation, shows willingness to help those who are in need. Dr. Jain’s caring support will definitely make a difference in the lives of many deprived patients.  People like Dr. Jain encourages everyday to continue with our societal good.”
