The delegation of Joint Teachers Association met UT advisor

Chandigarh 3 Oct. Today, the delegation of Joint Teacher Association, along with BJP President Arun Sood, met UT Advisor of Chandigarh and once again raised the demands of teachers before the administration. In the delegation, Joint Teacher Association Chairman Ranveer Jhorar, Legal Advisor Arvind Rana and General Secretary Ajay Sharma handed over the demand letter signed by 1000 teachers to the advisor.

The important important issues were the issuance of 7th CPC letter for SSA Contract and Guest teachers, the pending arrears of Dear Allowances and sixth pay commission for teachers and staff under Samagra Shiksha,implementation of pay commission for the 2015 batch teachers, implementation of the provision of one-third leave in schools and giving the option of Punjab Service Rules to teachers and other issues.

The delegation said that the Advisor has listened to all their demands with sympathy and has discussed each and every demand in detail. JTA members said that they have hope and full confidence that soon positive action will be taken on the demands which will benefit the government school teachers .

While the delegation thanked the advisor, it has also thanked the state president of BJP Sh. Arun Sood and informed that whenever we have gone to Arun Sood with our demands, he has tried his best on it and has benefited us in the past as well and we hope that the demands of the teachers will continue to be supported by him in the future.
