Chandigarh, March 13:-* The Finance and Contract committee of Municipal Corporation Chandigarh has decided to provide two sanitation booths for the safaikarmacharis to facilitate them to assemble for duty regarding cleanliness in their respective areas and may relax, take lunch during off duty hours and keep their belongings at the lockers after performing their duties. The sanitation two booths will be provided at different locations of SSKs at an estimated cost of Rs. 49.86 lacs including approved various developmental agenda items.
The meeting of F&CC was held here today under the Chairmanship of Sh. Kuldeep Kumar, Mayor and attended by Ms. Anindita Mitra, IAS, Commissioner and other members of committee namely Smt. Jaswinder Kaur, Sh. Lakhbir Singh, Sh. Maheshinder Singh Sidhu, Sh. Ram Chander Yadav, Smt. Taruna Mehta and other senior officers of MCC.
The members of committee discussed other various important agenda items in detail and accorded approval for the following:
· Construction of Public Toilet block at Muslim grave yard at Sector 25, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 12.61 lacs.
· Strengthening of storm water drainage system by providing and laying of 450mm RCC NP-2 pipeline for smooth disposal of rain water near H. No.402 to H.No.320 in Gully No.4, Village Burail, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 14.53 lacs.
· Re-construction of Public Toilet Block at Azad Rehri market Sector 20/D, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 15.29 lacs.
· Providing and fixing of open air gym equipment’s in four parks and green belt Sector 46 C&D, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 18.01 lacs.
· Providing garden lights in neighbourhood parks of housing boards flats in Sector 51, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 14.07 lacs.
· Provision of high mast/high electric pole in parking lot of Zone-1, Sector 34, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 48.37 lacs.
· Dismantling, providing and re-fixing of kerb and laying cement concrete in channel on V-6 Road, Sector 35-A&B Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 21.74 lacs.
· Repair of paver block around the various park in Sector 30/A, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 21.84 lacs.
· Upgradation of footpath in front of SCO in parking along Dakshin Marg, Sector-20 C&D, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 46.07 lacs.
· Construction of cement concrete flooring in central verge with G.l. pipe railing in front and back side parking along Dakshin Marg, Sector-20 C&D, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 40.05 lacs.
· Raising of kerbs and channels and construction of central verge with the cement concrete on V-3 road Sector 29/30, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 28.05 lacs.
· Repair of paver block in front of Kendriya Vidhalaya, Sector 29/B, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 16.37 lacs.
· Re-construction of pedestrian footpath in front of House No.:146 to 114 after dismantling of existing PCC tiles in Sector 28/A, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 12.41 lacs.
· Supply and installation of various items for the use of Community Centre, Sector 33, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 2.74 lacs.
· Extension of contracts for staff addressing Monkey Menace in Ward No.10, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 6.00 lacs.
· Relaying of cement concrete track after demolishing existing damaged in park near Cremation Ground and House No.1350, Nagla Mohalla Manimajra, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 40.23 lacs.
· Construction of toe wall under existing M.S. flat in various Parks of Sector-20, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 44.50 lacs.
· Providing high mast lighting system and high electric pole in Sector 23 Market, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 5.01 lacs.
· Overhauling of street poles on V4 roads of Sector 39 and 40, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 32.58 lacs.
· Renovation of Public Toilet situated at Sector 51/A Market, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 7.83 lacs.
· Construction of boundary wall of tubewell No.5 at Mauli Pind in front of House No.81 and tubewell No.3 at Sunder Nagar at the backside of H.No.86 along with allied worksat an estimated cost of Rs. 10.52 lacs.
· Special repair of street lights 4 road, Sector 32, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 21.38 lacs.
· Extension of existing contract for lifting of dead animals from the MC limits of Chandigarhat an estimated cost of Rs. 8.00 lacs.
· Revised sanction for the purchase of one meat Van at an estimated cost of Rs. 29.75 lacs.
· Strengthening of storm water drainage system for smooth disposal of rain water at various locations in Sector. 44-C&D Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 48.31 lacs.
· Development of various parks of sector 22 and sector 23 chandigarh with landscaping work i.e. grassing, shrubs, decorative plants etc. at an estimated cost of Rs. 24.53 lacs.
· Overhauling of sound system and spare sound system in Auditorium, Mahila Bhawan, Sector 38, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 49.84 lacs.
